Sauna – Feast for the Senses

The golden Soria Moria sauna looks like a veritable feast for the senses.

This wonderful sauna is located on ‘Bandak Lake’ in Norway, 160km southwest of Oslo, in a picturesque mountainous landscape offering breathtaking views.

The shingles of the cladding shimmer like ‘gold’ in reference to a local, well-known Norwegian fairy tale about a golden palace in the mountains.

What intrigued us as perfumers about this project are the unusual sensorial experience this sauna offers:

  • the woody & herbal notes of the sauna itself,
  • the clean, fresh, fragrance filled mountain air of Norway, and
  • the watery aquatic notes of the lake

To create this wonderfully natural sensation in your home, we suggest our fragrance “SPA” and then select your favourite product in our online boutique.
