Perfume Bottles in Art?

Today we came across a Fragrance Flacon in the painting “Seated Man” (by Roger De La Fresnaye, 1914) and it started us wondering about ‘perfume bottles in art’.

For such a query, the internet offers a beautifully rich source of inspiration.

We encourage everybody to run this type of search and become inspired by the art you see.

Here are are a few websites that offer a good starting point:

Below we show a few of the paintings we found and liked that clearly show perfume bottles in art.

We have mixed it up with our own creations about perfume bottles.

We believe perfumery is an art in its own right and this page also includes links to Museums about Perfume.

Fragrance is an essential aspect of personal grooming. It has the power to set the mood and make a lasting impression on the people you come in contact with. However, oftentimes, fragrances tend to fade away quickly, leaving us feeling disappointed. The solution to this problem is fragrance layering.  By using a combination of different products with the same scent, you can extend the life of your fragrance and enjoy its aroma for a longer period of time. This includes shower gels, body lotions, and perfumes, among others. Not only does layering help to prolong the fragrance, but it also allows you to create a personalised scent that is unique to you. However, not all fragrances are created equal, so you’ll have to choose products that complement each other and work together to create a harmonious scent. The right perfume combination can help to intensify the fragrance, making it last longer and smell more luxurious.
